After leaving Middlesex University I worked for both large and small contract caterers before setting up Edwards & Ward with Mike Edwards in 1999, it’s been a fantastic journey and I’m immensely proud of what we have achieved.
Away from my day job I am an avid motorsport fan, in particular Formula 1 and I thoroughly enjoy travelling to races with my wife when we can.

After travelling for 3 years I started my career within the food industry at J. Sainsbury’s, this began as Management roles within the stores, and then progressed to project management positions at Head Office, and finally trading roles within a number of different categories, I have also gained extensive purchasing experience across the foodservice and contract catering sectors, in both large and small organisations, and with over 20 years experience I still get excited about the challenges and rewards the industry presents.
Along with my wife and two daughters I enjoy travelling, live music and festivals, and my personal interests are art and design, time on the allotment, and various sports including F1, cycling, rugby and football.

Since graduating from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh with an MSc in Public Health Nutrition I have worked hard to gain registered Nutrition status and am fully accredited by the Association for Nutrition. Over the last 10 years I have gained a wealth of experience, providing nutrition advice, training and support for the education and hospitality sectors. Since joining Edwards and Ward I have been tasked with assisting in the development of nutritionally balanced menus and heading up our Special Diets team.
Outside of work my time is spent with my husband and daughter, enjoying the beautiful countryside. I also love to cook and you will often find me in the kitchen trying our new recipes.
Having gained a Degree within the industry and respectfully gaining great experience and knowledge within varying establishments, I can stipulate that my dedication and commitment is absolute. The design, creative flare and drive to succeed fuels my passion and dedication to the cause of excellence.
Teaching and inspiring our staff and clients the importance of fresh, healthy, and nutritionally balanced meals that leave everyone talking and wanting more is important to me. This is so much more than a job, it’s an appetite and thirst to creatively satisfy with culinary competence.
In my spare time I like to relax and visit food festivals and markets!
